The XCP-ng solution
Vates is the lead company behind the development of XCP-ng. In its early days, Vates offered project management tools based on open source solutions such as XenServer. Today, the company offers a complete turnkey and open source virtualization solution based on Citrix XenServer without any feature restrictions: XCP-ng. An incubation project of the Xen Project hosted by the Linux Foundation, XCP-ng is the result of a massive cooperation between individuals and companies to provide a hypervisor without limits and free of charge.

In May 2019, XCP-ng won BPI's support in the I-Nov innovation competition, a French government program aimed at supporting innovative projects in various sectors, including virtualization and security, led by start-ups and SMEs. This grant is currently being used to finance the improvement of their platform in terms of cybersecurity, to be able to meet the needs of customers with sensitive data, such as the public sector.

In this way, we ensure a sovereign virtualization brick, at the end of a production chain fully controlled and operated in France (network, data center, resources).
