From your computer or mobilephone, organize meetings and conferences with one or more users online to exchange with your colleagues, customers or partners. With BBB, you can take advantage of high quality audio, video and screen sharing features while keeping control of your data. Unlike many web conferencing systems that require software installation, BigBlueButton works in your web browser. You click on a link, your browser runs BigBlueButton and invites you to join the meeting. There is no plug-in to download, and no software to install. There are two types of users in BigBlueButton: the Spectators and the Moderators. A viewer can chat, send/receive audio and video, answer polls, post an emoji (such as a raised hand), and participate in small group meetings. A moderator can do everything a viewer can do, and more. A moderator can mute other viewers, block them (for example, prevent them from using private chat) and make anyone the current presenter. There can be more than one moderator in a session. The presenter can do the following: upload slides, use the whiteboard to annotate any side, enable/disable the multi-user whiteboard, start a poll, share a YouTube, vimeo or Canvas Studio video, share their screen. Only one presenter can be in the session at a time. Any moderator can name any user as a presenter, including themselves.
