In 2011, Patrick and Francine Violas decided to make a change in their professional life by leaving the cell phone industry to create an educational farm near Chartres, intended to receive domestic animals from rescues. This is how they created the first zoo-refuge in France where, with the exception of elephants, all the animals were rescued.

The first website no longer met these needs, and a redesign was necessary. La Tanière therefore called upon the web agency AGEPCom in January 2020.
